DAY 2 zombies!

The beginning of next week I will be posting a scene from the movie as well as some pictures and videos from this weekends shooting.

Today's shooting went well, we got a bunch more scenes done. All went well with Doran having a bum foot. Overall, we didn't have as many Zombies show up as we were hoping for, many people have things to do today, so only 5 showed up, however, we were still able to get a bunch shot. Are last day for shooting is next Saturday, April 18th.

JUST A QUICK UPDATE! Today we got the flash file working smoothy, current videos are edited and some are placed in the game. Things are coming together!

This is the lay out for the flash file (aka: the game) 

Today me and Cody are new teammate in the project worked hard on editing. Cody completed a lot of the aftereffects editing that is needed to make the movie come to life and I worked on sound effects, audio, editing and pulling it all together! We are really excited about it, its really starting to come along!

We have been editing the footage and continuing to figure out are flash file. Been a rough week with Daniel out of town and me being very sick. Next week will be game time and we will be pushing to get all the footage we have edited and put into the game!

Day 1 filming

Today was are first day of filming. It was great! We are right on schedule if not a little ahead. We wrapped up are day about an hour early cause are actors did such an amazing job! It was lots of fun and everyone did an amazing job! 

We begin shooting promptly at noon tomorrow!

Zombies

Are Zombies look!

We have are script finished and are ready to start filming on the 28th!

Lately we have been contacting cast members, figuring out shooting dates & times, and perfecting some of the smaller details. Shooting begins March 28th!

Finished casting on Wednesday, have contacted the main leads to let them know that they have been chosen to play in the movie! We are very excited about are cast and can't wait to start shooting!

Hoping to get some video shot today to place in the flash file to give people a better idea of what the game/movie will look/ feel like.

Held the first section of casting calls today and it went amazing!! A bunch of people showed up, all with great talent, its going to be really hard to choose! Can't wait to see who shows up Wednesday for round two.

More mock ups

Currently we are focused on coming up with the general gist of the movie/game. This coming week we will be creating a clip that will show the style in which the movie will be shot in and we will also be creating a clip to place in the already made flash game. Casting will be taking place this week which we are very excited for.

Currently hearing lots from people interested in casting! Keep spreading the word to friends and family that might be interested in playing a part!

Currently we are working on a flash example of what the game/movie will look like. We have used pictures from the sights at which we will be filming to show throughout the mock up of the game. Next step is to hold castings and get this show on the road!

The Creation

The Rise of the Rotted is a interactive movie about the zombie apocalypse. The "player" can choose how the story will go, the story has multiple ends so you never know what you might get. The "player" will have to choose thing like, "turn left or right", "leave the friend to die or try and save them" and many other decisions. The story follows the same kind of style as Zombie Land, with humor to help intrigue the play and give them some good laughs alone the way. Please join with us through the creation of this project.
